Portfolio Large Format Projects

Another small project for the City of Nanaimo, we designed and applied this graphic to a traffic light kiosk.

This was a small but fun project that definitely helps this metal box look more appealing to traffic, helping our city look it’s best!

We finally got a chance to wrap our shop vehicle, and we are very happy with the result!

The entire vehicle is done with Avery Supreme Wrapping Film, the colours are Satin Black and Intense Blue.

We have worked hard to finally bring our shop vehicle into the full wrap stage. We wanted s simple graphic that would not overwhelm the information on the car, but still get noticed.

Because blue is still not that common of a vehicle colour the SUV get’s noticed everywhere it has brought in business the first week on the road!

The Regional District of Mount Waddington contacted us to wrap the Town of Port McNeill’s Zamboni.

We were very excited to be included in the project to convert this vehicle into a full electric ice cleaner!

We designed this project from scratch, the client wanted to feature their major sponsors relationship with the logging industry. The other big feature of course was the all electric, highlighted by the solar panels on the top of the Zamboni.

The entire truck was drawn on the computer and adapted to fit the ice cleaner. Printed on 3M vehicle wrap vinyl. The state of the art electrical system was installed by Canadian Electric Vehicles in Errington, BC.

This local furniture company was struggling to come up with a design to highlight their unique, family owned store.

We incorporated some sating black accents, with simple graphics to attract attention to this truck.

Creating graphic designs for vehicles can be tricky and takes experience. We wanted to bring the cab into the overall design to make it look more like vehicle graphics, and less like a simple billboard.

We used satin black colour change material along with a printed photo of the clients featured line to make a classy but noticeable vehicle advertising up and down Vancouver Island and the mainland.

One of our clients moved into a mall and wanted to use the existing store front.

We used colour change vehicle wrap vinyl, printed logos overlayed, and painted dimensional foam for the text.

This store front wrap was a dark colour from an older store, but very expensive to replace, we wrapped this in Avery Supreme wrap film, gloss green and a satin pink. The logo is printed, laminated and installed over the wrap film, then we glued the foam painted text above the entrance.

We also printed and installed the banner at the back of the store, featuring the owners daughter as a baby, indoors the vinyl should never fail or fade.

Our local bike shop needed their vehicle wrapped and we were happy to help.

The windows have perforated window film to complete the look, and you can bet this vehicle got noticed at races and events!

A job close to our mountain biking hearts was a pleasure to do. Working with an old colleague was great as we we able to team up and get her design onto the vehicle.

There is a lot that goes into making a wrap look good, and keeping the graphic bold and simple always helps. This vehicle is out of service now, but looked great at all the big cycling events around the area as the owner travelled extensively all around western North America.

One of the first big projects our company did, this smoked salmon can gift shop was one of a kind!

St. Jeans cannery in Nanaimo wanted a gift shop that would make a statement. Graphic design work was done in house at St. Jeans, then the company built this oversized can for a gift shop at the entrance to their plant. We applied decals to that painted can to mimic their signature smoked salmon cans, known all over the world.

The Wertman Develpoment Corporation needed some decoration for the inside of their sales office. We worked with a local Graphic Designer and installed their designs on three walls, along with some dimensional lettering.

This project finished off the sales office fora new condo tower in Nanaimo. Three big walls all got murals, designed by Gio Brassens, and they look great inside this small space. The biggest giving the actual view from inside the high rise.

We were contacted by the Wertman Develpoment Corporation to wrap their sales office exterior store front. We did all of the graphic design work and also applied this complex wrap.

All we had was a rendering of the new high rise for downtown Nanaimo, and the client wanted a full wrap of the store front and awning to attract attention. We used some blocks of colour and blew up the image as large as possible, we had to be b=very accurate to make everything fit!
